Pensacola’s oldest running event is this Saturday, March 29

Pensacola, FL – (March 25, 2025) – There are still race entries available for one of Pensacola’s oldest running events, the Bayou Hills Run. The race will take place Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 7 a.m. at Pensacola’s Bayview Park.
The Bayou Hills Run is the official City of Pensacola 5K and 10K Championship races. The overall male and female winners for each age division will be recognized at a Pensacola City Council meeting following the race.
The 5K and 10K course takes runners through the scenic East Hill neighborhood, along Bayou Texar, and among towering oaks and challenging hills.
A post-race party includes food, drinks and music along picture-perfect Bayou Texar. The park includes playgrounds and pavilions for kids and families.
Registration fees are $50 for the 10K, $40 for the 5K and $15 for the Kids Run. Registration and event information for the Bayou Hills Run can be found here.
Pensacola Sports is a 501(c)3 organization and funds from the Bayou Hills Run go to support many community events including the High School All-Star Series, Senior Scholar Athlete Awards Banquet, Annual Awards Banquet, Racquet Roundup and many more. Funds also help fund the Pensacola Sports Community Grant Program.
