Bayou Hills Run Returns To Spring Race Date

Registration Now Open For March 18, 2023 Race

Pensacola, FL – (December 6, 2022) – Pensacola Sports is excited to announce that the Bayou Hills Run will return to its traditional spring timeframe with the 2023 race taking place on Saturday, March 18, 2023. Registration for the race is now open.

One of Pensacola’s oldest running events, the Bayou Hills Run is the official City of Pensacola 5K and 10K Championship races. The overall male and female winners for each age division will be recognized at a Pensacola City Council meeting following the race.

The course begins and ends at Pensacola’s Bayview Park – located at 2000 E. Lloyd Street — and takes runners through the scenic East Hill neighborhood along Bayou Texar, and among towering oaks and challenging hills.

“We always look forward to the community enthusiasm and support we see for this signature Pensacola race. Each year, it just gets bigger and better,” said Pensacola Sports president and CEO Ray Palmer.

A post-race party with food, drinks and music will take place at Bayview Park, a perfect setting along Bayou Texar that includes playgrounds and pavilions for the kids and families.

Register now to get the best rates.  Opening registration fees are $40 for the 10K, $30 for the 5K and $15 for the kids run. Prices increase on February 6, 2023. All proceeds from the race benefit Creative Learning Academy and Pensacola Sports.
