Bayou Hills Run Registration Opens for Labor Day Race
Pensacola Sports to Recognize Education Industry During Race
Pensacola Sports announced registration is now open for the Bayou Hills Run, the City of Pensacola 5K and 10K Championships. The 2021 race will take place on Labor Day, Monday, September 6.
This year’s featured industry is education. In addition to the event being themed around educators, 250 free entries to the race will be provided to anyone in the education industry including teachers, aids, front office, tutors, as well as support roles such as bus drivers, maintenance, and custodial staff.
“We at Pensacola Sports want to honor those in the medical profession for being on the front lines during this COVID-19 pandemic,” said Ray Palmer, President and CEO of Pensacola Sports. “This heroic group of people are leaving their families to help those in need. This is one way we can thank them for their service.”
