Pensacola, Fla. (October 12, 2021) – Escambia County and the City of Pensacola are preparing to host the 2022 Sun Belt Conference Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships. This year’s championships will be from March 2-7 at the Pensacola Bay Center. Pensacola Sports is giving the opportunity for locals to get involved.
Pensacola Sports is searching for community members who would like to be liaisons for the bands, and spirit squads to create a welcoming atmosphere. Each liaison will be the main point of contact in Pensacola for an assigned team. Ideally, the perfect liaison has a connection with the assigned institution and establishes a relationship with the schools’ representative.
Liaisons will show off our community and assist with any logistical questions like medical emergencies, directions, restaurants reservation/recommendations, hotels, and more.
