Awardees announced for the 2015 Pensacola Sports Annual Awards Banquet presented by Cox Communications

Cox Communications presents the Pensacola Sports 62nd Annual Awards Banquet on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at New World Landing. The evening will begin with a cash bar Cocktail Hour at 5:30pm followed by the program commencing at 6:45pm.

The Special Guests for the evening are Rick and Dick Hoyt, also known as Team Hoyt. Despite Rick’s disability as a Spastic Quadriplegic with Cerebral Palsy, in the last 37 years Team Hoyt have competed in over 1100 athletic events including 72 marathons and 257 triathlons – 6 of them being Ironman distance events. Through his presentation, Dick shares his lifelong commitment to changing attitudes and educating others on the world of disabilities.

Dan Shugart, Sports Director of WEAR-TV returns as the MC to present the 2015 honorees.
